Description
There’s more to colored pencils than just the pencils themselves! In this six-week class, we’ll explore the exciting possibilities of using them on a variety of surfaces, including colored papers, sanded paper, and drafting film. Each surface offers unique effects that can enhance depth, texture, and vibrancy in your artwork, allowing you to push beyond traditional techniques.
In addition to experimenting with different surfaces, we’ll also explore how colored pencils interact with other media, such as watercolor, ink, and pastels. Through these exercises, you'll expand your understanding of the medium and develop a broader set of techniques to incorporate into your artwork.
***Please Note there is no class September 18th***
