03/25 Life Drawing Workshop
This immersive three-hour Life Drawing workshop offers artists the opportunity to sharpen their observational skills while working directly from a live model.
Description
This immersive three-hour Life Drawing workshop offers artists the opportunity to sharpen their observational skills while working directly from a live model.
All experience levels are invited to bring their preferred dry media, such as graphite, charcoal, or ink and strengthen their drawing fundamentals.
The long-pose session will begin with a demo in charcoal, and the rest of the time is structured to allow students to lay groundwork for their drawings and practice measuring and sighting techniques with individualized feedback.
This workshop is an excellent opportunity to build foundational skills or continue developing artistic instinct.
About the Instructor
I love exploring and finding beauty in the people and places around me, and I try to capture my initial sense of wonder in my work. My personal challenge is to paint so much that the oil paint puddles on my palette do not have time to dry over.
I was born and raised in San Jose, California. Currently, I am a student at the Laguna College of Art and Design majoring in fine art with an emphasis on illustration.
Teaching is an exciting opportunity to share my passion for drawing and painting, and I enjoy sharing my process with fellow artists!
