Description
Have you always wanted to capture the delicate beauty of cherry blossoms but weren’t sure where to start? This 3-hour workshop offers a relaxed introduction to watercolor painting, perfect for beginners. We’ll cover essential foundations such as brush control, color mixing, and wet-on-wet techniques, with guided demonstrations to help you create soft, flowing backgrounds and simple, expressive petal shapes.
Students will then follow a step-by-step process to create their own cherry blossom painting, focusing on layering, depth, and subtle color variation. Along the way, you’ll learn how to simplify forms and work with watercolor’s natural movement. By the end of the session, you’ll leave with a finished piece and the confidence to continue exploring watercolor on your own.
